What a fantastic day which couldn't be marred by a power outage which sadly took
care of not being able to demonstrate further glass blowing after lunch. However
this just enabled us all to mix with all the great collectors to chat and laugh for

For those who couldn't make it Richard had made a stunning collection of pieces
for every budget. The morning demonstration saw Richard making the green encased
perfume bottle which looked from a previous picture of it as a bit off the wall
but in the flesh it was a large perfume bottle which although different looked amazing.

1pm arrived along with a train on the preservation railway line and that was the
last we saw of electricity, there was nothing else left to do but to down toolls
and fill a wine glass plus some of the wonderful catering supplied by Richard and
Sandra and have a good chat with everyone and a laugh. I look forward to the next
I am glad I retired b ut havent got a clue how I fitted everything in as there are
never enough hours in the day but I promise to put some interesting Okra pieces on
the web site in the next few weeks which have not been offered for sale before. I
will of course let you know when I have done this.
